ABOUT THE RACE
A realistic and honest introduction to Magoebas..
The MR10 is the perfect introduction to trail running in Magoebaskloof. Designed for newcomers, social runners, and speedsters alike, this route combines beautiful forest trails, flowing singletrack, and proper climbing to provide a genuine mountain-running experience. Expect stunning scenery, a vibrant atmosphere, and a rewarding challenge that showcases the magic of Magoebaskloof in a shorter, more accessible format.
Route Description
The MR10 route is run solely on the trails at Krabbefontein. It is a true introduction to what Magoebas is all about. Big climbs, exhilirating descends, incredible views and some true Magoebas Magic.
The MR10 can be broken down into 3 sections.

The Climb
The race starts with some serious climbing. You will do most of your climbing in the first half of the race, with a massive climb to take you to the top of Schultz Farm.

Limpopo-Flo Downhill
Once you have completed your main climb for the day, you will descend back down to the valley floor via the exhilirating Limpopo-Flo singletrack.
03
Pine Singletracks
The last section is undulating as you will be navigating some exciting singletrack through some Pine plantations.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
What You Need to Qualify
No qualification criteria is applicable for the MR10. You just need the required compulsory gear, and you are good to go.
Compulsory Gear
Full compulsory gear list must be carried at all times. Gear checks will be conducted at registration and random checkpoints.
Age Requirement
Runners must be 16 years or older on race day. No exceptions.
